Rocking our “babies” in class during Rock-a-bye Baby, allows children to show and develop their nurturing traits. The nurturing and security they feel from you as they rock in your lap and look in your eyes is strengthening that very necessary parent-child bond. 

What is audiation?

Audiation is the musical equivalent of thinking in language. Also known as inner hearing, it means being able to hear notes and music in our head without the need to play or sing. To read more about audiation, check out this great article: Audiation – Another Way of Knowing.
