It’s Almost Time…
Welcome to Red Balloons! I can’t wait to start class and I look forward to educating your amazing children!
The delayed start to our semester is due to my maternity leave. I originally had LPM1: Red Balloons starting Sept. 2nd, but due to several school holidays on Friday during the Fall semester that won’t give us enough Fridays to complete our Fall semester.
As a result, I’ve decided to move the 1st day of class forward a week to start on August 26th.
- Mandatory Parent Orientation – Tuesday August 23rd at 6:00pm (more details below)
- First day of Class – Friday August 26th 3:30pm or 4:45pm
- Parents come the first week of class & tuition is due ($60/month or $240/semester)
- Friday 1:00
- Stetson Eyestone
- Kinsley Eyestone
- Jimmy Hall
- Nigel Fillmore
- Friday 3:30
- Ivy Andersen
- Brayden Anderson
- Lucy Basko
- Anders Nielson
- Lucas Norris
- Galina Seeley
- Lemmy Jeans
- Nixon Jeans
- Andrew Lewis
- Friday 4:45
- Almeda Chandler
- Jacob Luna
- Jackson Ray
- Emeric Shearon
- Nelson Vester
- James Hall
- Cecilia Clay
- Gage Weeks
My 1st year classes are almost FULL, but I have a few spots left in my 1:00 class. I’d be so grateful if you recommended my LPM and Sound Beginnings (0-4 year old) music classes to your friends and family. For each referral who registers I’ll give you a $25 tuition credit!
Parent Orientation
You are invited to our Let’s Play Music 1st Year Parent Orientation Meeting. Come and learn the ins and outs of the Let’s Play Music program. We will discuss the purpose of the activities we do in class, our expectations for connecting with your student, and educate you on where the curriculum is headed! You will also learn about my Let’s Play Music studio procedures so we are all on the same page. Materials will be distributed as well. You won’t want to miss it!!
In order to avoid an hour long firehose of information, I’ve created a google form that contains MOST of the information you really need before classes start. The remainder of parent orientation, materials distribution, and Q&A should only take 20-30 minutes tops. Click here to access the Google Form Please read/complete this form when you have the chance to sit and process the info thoroughly.
This is a mandatory parent meeting and is for parents only (the one that will be attending class with the child) and will last 20-30 min if you have completed the google form.
Please text me ASAP (if you haven’t already) so I know you got this message and will be in attendance. I look forward to seeing you soon!
Ms. Judie

Let me know if you have any questions. You’re welcome to call/text 480-747-3803 or email me at [email protected].
In each weekly post you can look here to find what concepts and skills we’re learning and what new songs we have gone over. That way, if ever you miss class you’ll know exactly what we’ve done. Sometimes it helps to see it written out to understand what you’re seeing in class.
What can you do today to be better prepared for class? Download your Red Balloons digital audio tracks and start listening to them each day. Your child will be much more comfortable in class if they are already familiar with the songs. They will also feed off your response to the songs – if you are excited to listen and dance/sing along your child will too!! (Text me if you don’t know how to access these songs. You should have been emailed a download link from Let’s Play Music the day you registered).
In our Making Musicians section you will find interesting articles, ideas, and ways to connect what we’re learning in class. It’s a great resource, so check it out! This week we will review what it means to create a complete musician.
For my convenience, I have preloaded content for the whole semester. I will update each future post with specific time-sensitive info before I send the link each week. If you choose to read ahead you might see details that don’t apply to your child’s class. For this reason I do not recommend reading ahead. Thank you!
